Why we built Alert24
Most phone theft is quick and quiet. A phone lifted from a café table, unplugged from a socket, or slid out of a pocket in a crowd is gone before anyone looks up. The phone itself does nothing about it.
We built Alert24 to change that one fact. The phone should make noise the moment it is taken, keep making noise until its owner stops it, and take a photo of whoever is holding it. If it is gone anyway, the owner should be able to ring it, see where it is and mark it lost from any browser.
It is a simple idea, and the value is in the details: a countdown so you can put the phone down, a warning beep so a friend can put it back, a siren that the volume buttons cannot silence, and photos that belong to you.

Only your PIN stops it
An alarm a thief can switch off is decoration. Alert24's siren stops with your PIN, pattern, knock code or fingerprint, and the app itself can be locked the same way.
Photos belong to you
Intruder photos and locations are stored on your phone and, if you sign in, in your own Google account. Nobody else can see them. Delete one and it is gone from the cloud too.
Honest about limits
A phone that is switched off cannot be rung or located, by us or anyone. Alert24 does not lock or wipe remotely, and the earphone alarm is wired only. We say so on every page where it matters.
Made for the whole world
Alert24 runs in English and 31 other languages, including right-to-left scripts, and the core alarms work with no internet at all. Phone theft is not a problem of one country.
Our sister apps
GTS Infosoft LLP also makes App Lock, which puts a PIN, pattern or fingerprint in front of the apps you choose, and Applore. The three apps share a lot of what they are made of, and the lessons from one go into the others. The app lock inside Alert24, for example, comes from the same work as App Lock.
How we handle your data
Alert24 asks for permissions that sound serious: camera, location, device admin, display over other apps. Each one has a single, visible job, and the app explains it before asking. It has no accessibility service and no notification access, and it does not read your messages or track what you do on the phone.
Intruder photos are kept in the app's private storage. Uploading them to your account is what makes them useful when the phone is gone, so that happens only when you are signed in, and Phone Access Snap photos are never uploaded at all. The free app is supported by ads. Premium removes them and adds Remote Access, and it is a normal Google Play subscription that you cancel from the Play Store.
