The short version
Phones are taken in the moments you are not looking at them: on a table, in a pocket, on a charger. Alert24 covers each of those moments with a different alarm. All of them give you a 10-second countdown, then stay armed until you enter your PIN, pattern or knock code. A thief cannot silence them with the volume buttons.
The table below is the quick guide. The pages under it go deeper, one situation at a time, and each one also lists the plain habits that no app can replace.

Three settings that change everything
Whatever the situation, these three choices decide how well the alarm works for you.
Pre-alarm beep
A short beep (5 seconds by default) before the siren. Long enough for a friend to put the phone back, short enough that a thief gains nothing. Adjust it per alarm in Settings.
Trusted places
Save home or your own desk as a trusted place and automatic charger and earphone alerts pause there. Never add a café, hostel or gym.

Keep Alert24 itself behind your PIN. Then nobody can open the app and switch an alarm off before it fires.
